Matthew W. Bullock, DO, MPT
Orthopaedic Surgery

Bullock is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. He earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, before completing a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. Bullock’s advanced training includes an orthopaedic adult reconstruction fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A West Virginia native and two-time alumnus of West Virginia University in Morgantown, Bullock worked as a physical therapist before pursuing a career in medicine. Bullock specializes in all aspects of hip and knee replacement, including revision surgery and infections. He is also skilled in minimally-invasive total hip replacement and robotic partial knee resurfacing. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Chad D. Lavender, MD
Orthopaedic Surgery

Lavender is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, before completing a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Marshall University. Lavender’s advanced training includes an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship with Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He has worked with CAMC Orthopedic Surgery since 2015. A former West Virginia University football player, Lavender treats injuries of the musculoskeletal system and conducts sports physicals. He serves as a team physician for Marshall University, the University of Charleston and numerous local high schools. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Jessica Meek, MS, RD, LD
Nutrition 

Meek, a registered dietitian, developed a passion for nutrition during her teenage years and strongly believes in the healing power of food. After completing her undergraduate and master degree program at Ohio University, she became a registered dietitian in 2006. She has been practicing professionally for over 10 years in the Tri-state area. She works specifically with diabetic patients regarding nutrition to help them lead healthier lives.

Marc A. Subik, MD
Gastroenterology
 

Subik is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. He earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Marshall University. Subik’s advanced training includes a gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Subik specializes in treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ulcerative colitis, acid reflux disease (GERD) and more. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certification in gastroenterology.
