General Program Design and Requirements

Marshall Health is a community based outpatient clinic of Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. The residency program consists of experiences in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Infectious Disease/ Gastroenterology, Endocrinology/ Pulmonology/ Rheumatology, Management, and longitudinal experience in Community Pharmacy Practice. Residents will also gain experience in academia by completing the Marshall University School of Pharmacy Teaching Certificate Program. Other learning experiences may be available depending on residents’ interests.

Staffing Component
Each resident will staff the out-patient pharmacy every other weekend and will be required to take call during that weekend

Salary and Benefits
Estimated stipend is $47,500. 10 vacation days and medical insurance
